Bob Holby

An avid outdoorsman, Bob has lived in Northwest Pennsylvania his entire life. His dad introduced him to hunting and fishing at a young age, and it quickly became a lifelong passion. He has taken advantage of the multiple opportunities Pennsylvania provides, though he has found a true passion for archery, hunting whitetails, and fly fishing for wild trout.

After high school, he married his wife Melissa, whose family co-owns and operates Berkey’s Nursery, a Christmas tree farm encompassing over 900 acres in Spartansburg, PA. He spent several years working for the farm full-time, learning a work ethic and gaining experience in agriculture. With access to equipment and property, he found himself building food plots and learning everything he could about deer habitat.

He is also the father of two daughters, and he has instilled a love of the outdoors into their lives. His family time includes guiding his kids hunting and fishing, as well as camping and hiking whenever possible. Bob and his family have also visited many of the national parks around the country.

When the opportunity arose to become a team member of Josh Ongley’s at Whitetail Properties, he jumped at the chance. He believes his background in construction, timber management, and farming and his passion for building hunting properties make him a good fit to help others find their dream properties.
