Coy Fisher is currently based out of Sidney, Nebraska located in the panhandle of Western Nebraska. He is a seasoned real estate professional with eight years of experience selling farm and ranch real estate. Born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Coy was always curious about “who owned that ranch and if the hunting was good on it?” Land has been a passion from a young age and developed into a wide range of knowledge about all aspects of what the Land provides.
With 15+ years of experience as a Landman in the energy sector, Coy has traveled the Western United States acquiring mineral leases and developing drill sites for some of the largest energy companies in the US. As a Registered Professional Landman (RPL), we can understand what minerals are owned by the surface on any land sale and help create a full picture of value for both the Buyer and Seller.
Coy served five years as an Asset Manager, working as a fiduciary for absentee landowners in Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska. After a four-year education and testing process, Coy received the coveted Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation in 2023. As an AFM, we can perform a full investment analysis to determine a realistic cap rate and long-term projections for any land investment in the Western Region.
In addition to his professional achievements, Coy is deeply passionate about another resource that the land provides: hunting. Coy founded Powder Morning Hunting Company in 2015 and has become Western Nebraska’s top all-around outfitter for close to a decade. POMO provides fully guided hunts with lodging and meals on over 420,000 private acres for clients visiting from all over the country. Coy is dedicated to providing his clients with the highest level of service and expertise in all aspects of the land, and this makes for the right land specialist in your area for anyone looking to buy or sell land.
