Joey Ford, born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana, is a dedicated husband and father. He and his wife, Lauren, share a strong bond built on their mutual love for family and the outdoors. Together, they are the proud parents of two children, Beckett, who is 4, and Britton, who is 3. Joey is deeply invested in his role as a father, often sharing his love of nature and adventure with his kids. Joey’s journey began at Louisiana Tech University, where he pursued his education and showcased his athletic talent as a member of the university’s baseball team. His time at Louisiana Tech helped shape his leadership qualities and instilled a love for mentorship, which would guide his future career.
After graduation, Joey turned his attention to coaching, a passion that allowed him to give back to young athletes just as his own mentors had inspired him. Over a 15-year career, Joey worked with youth, high school, and collegiate teams, building strong, competitive programs. His coaching philosophy focused on developing athletic skills and teaching life lessons—discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—values that have always been close to his heart. Joey earned a reputation for being a supportive and motivating coach, helping many young athletes reach their potential both on and off the field.
While coaching was a rewarding career, Joey’s true passion has always been the outdoors. A lifelong hunter and outdoorsman, he feels most at home in the woods, particularly when pursuing whitetail deer. From the thick forests of Northwest Louisiana to hunting trips across the country, Joey is always chasing the next adventure. His deep knowledge of local wildlife and outdoor terrain makes him an experienced and skilled hunter. He’s spent countless hours studying the behavior of deer, perfecting his skills, and cherishing the quiet moments in nature. Hunting is more than a hobby for Joey—it’s a way to connect with nature, unwind, and share special experiences with family and friends.
Joey’s love for the outdoors is something he hopes to pass down to his children. He frequently brings Beckett and Britton on small outdoor adventures, teaching them about the natural world and the importance of respecting wildlife and the environment. Whether he’s coaching, hunting, or spending time with his family, Joey Ford is a man who leads with passion, dedication, and a love for the simple joys in life. His roots in Bossier City and the surrounding wilderness run deep, and he remains committed to the values of hard work, family, and the pursuit of adventure.
