Chasing upland birds behind a classy setter, afternoon teal hunts with a handsome Labrador, cranking in monster bass with early morning topwater action, and feeling warmed by adrenaline after taking a big buck on a frigid November day...these are the moments that make me feel alive. My passions began as a girl in the Northwoods of Minnesota and grew on the Kansas and South Dakota prairies, where I was trained in fisheries biology.
