Since childhood, Mark knew he wanted a career where his passion for the land, hunting, and the great outdoors all aligned. After a long career as an attorney and president of a law firm, God opened the right doors at the right time to enable Mark to pursue his passions.
Mark is an avid outdoorsman who loves hunting and fishing. Mark’s interest in land management for wildlife is ingrained within him and continues to grow and evolve. He’s written numerous articles about quality deer management in national publications and delivered a presentation on hunting at the NDA’s Deer Steward Level II course. Mark manages both his family farm and his personal farm for wildlife such as wild turkeys, deer, and various small game. Mark loves visiting new properties and envisioning the potential that each unique property has to offer.
Mark has been married for over 14 years to his lovely wife, Alison. Alison grew up on a cattle farm where she still enjoys working cattle, riding horses, and feeding chickens and goats. They are blessed with two wonderful kids and enjoy spending time outdoors as a family as much as possible.
Mark’s faith is of utmost importance to him. The Good Lord has blessed him beyond measure and has helped him navigate through life’s adversities.
Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Testimonials
"It has been a real pleasure working with Mark Cunningham of Whitetail Properties. Mark is truly a professional broker with a great knowledge of the business. Not only his business attributes but his knowledge of hunting has been very beneficial to our relationship. He is a very ethical person and you feel trust with Mark throughout the process. I certainly will continue to utilize Mark's company to acquire additional land in the future. I would recommend Mark to anyone with a desire to locate and purchase rural land in the Middle Tennessee market. I have been a commercial real estate broker and developer for over 40 years and I can easily recognize talent in the brokerage world when I see it."
