Matthew Sheffield

Matthew grew up just outside of Macon, Georgia on his great grandparents' land that they had farmed during the Great Depression. By the time he was born his grandparents had taken over the property. While it was no longer actively farmed, it provided plenty of opportunities for him to enjoy hunting, fishing and being outside with his family.

After finishing school, Matthew found his way into the health club industry, where he worked for over a decade, traveling around the Southeast establishing new locations and expanding the company's footprint. As much as he enjoyed this time in his life, he missed the joy of the outdoors shared with friends and family.

He knew eventually, he would find his way back, and when the opportunity presented itself to work for a company that loved the land and the outdoors as much as he did, he happily joined the Whitetail Properties team.
