I am a retired New York K9 Police Officer of 20 years and U.S. Army 101st Airborne veteran. Immediately following my retirement from the police department, I founded the Hope for Heroes foundation. Our mission is to help our nation’s heroes get back into the outdoors as a form of therapy and rehabilitation. We have taken many military, police, fire and EMS veterans on various trips in the outdoors and have hosted many events over the years. I have always been drawn to agriculture through formal education and life experience. Throughout my many years in the workforce, my time spent in the military and through founding the HFH Foundation I have had the privilege of creating a large following and networking community. Through my knowledge of the outdoors and my vast network of connections, I have been successful in creating opportunities and experiences through managing approximately 2,000 acres for others to benefit and enjoy.
Testimonials
Mitch was such a pleasure to work with. He was responsive, caring, thorough, funny and so much more. We felt like we really lucked out by having him help us purchase our property. It was not easy purchasing from Amish folks and he was on top of everything, kept things light hearted and went above and beyond for us. We always recommend our family and friends to use Whitetail Properties when they look for land because of our wonderful experience with Mitch.
