Scott has been married since 1988 to his wonderful wife, Lori, and they have three grown sons, Cody, Caleb (Hope), and Brantley (Cassady). He has a grandson (River) and a granddaughter (Callie) who love to spend time with their “Papa” in the great outdoors. Scott worked in the public education field most of his career – he was a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, and transportation/safety supervisor. He coached football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and golf periodically throughout his time in education. He also taught theatre for two years while also serving as the principal. Scott has been a Christian for many years, and he served as a youth director for about thirteen years. He is active in his church and speaks at Christian events and churches periodically. Scott developed a love for hunting and the outdoors while hunting and fishing with his father and brother from the time he was old enough to carry a gun (Daisy BB gun) or a rod (a cane pole in the early years). Hunting deer, turkey, and dove have become Scott’s favorites over the years, primarily because that’s what his father-in-law and sons enjoy (River and Callie are getting there). Whitetail Properties gives Scott an opportunity to pursue what he loves – helping others find their ideal property so they can build memories that last a lifetime.
