Steve Purviance

Steve grew up in Northwest Oklahoma in a family with a very proud hunting heritage. His Granddad Arnold Purviance, the local Game Ranger, instilled a deep respect for wildlife, landowners, and LAND at a very early age.

In 1994 Steve received his Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Conservation. Within just days of receiving his diploma, he was on a flight to King Cove Alaska where he spent the next four Summers running Gillnet boats, Commercial Salmon-Fishing in the Bering Sea.

In 1998 Steve founded Mt. Hide Outfitters which became one of the nation's premier hunting services for trophy Whitetail. The hunting business formed countless friendships with people motivated to buy LAND. Those relationships have played a pivotal role providing Steve's sellers exposure to a large client-base of buyers from all over the US.. In turn, his buyers receive value from decades of experience and first-hand knowledge of wildlife and ranches within the Northwest quadrant of Oklahoma.

Steve is one of the Original Land Specialists, hanging his license with Whitetail Properties in 2011. He has achieved three of the highest achievements in his Field. Those are; Winning the 2015 National Championship in Land Sales, leading a group of over 150 of the nation's top Land Salesmen; Winning the 2022 award for top Oklahoma Land Specialist with sales exceeding $45.3 million; Receiving the ALC accreditation, the highest accreditation a Land Specialist can achieve.

Steve and his wife Stacy have two children, Ridge and Reese. Enjoying time outdoors with family is Steve's favorite pastime.
