Wayne Kaufman grew up in the state of Kentucky, where his hunting/fishing experience began on his uncle George’s farm in Meade County, Kentucky. As a kid, he always told his mom and dad that he would one day own a farm of his own.
He has dedicated his life to serving and helping others as a police officer for 29 years. Even in this career, he found a way to relate it to the outdoors. He became a K9 handler and then a trainer and has done this for the last 25 years. Currently, he still works with K9s, helping to keepthe Jefferson County School System safe and drug-free.
He decided it was time to further pursue his outdoor passion and join Whitetail Properties after fulfilling his dream in 2024 with his oldest son Scott when they
purchased their first farm. All of their hunting/fishing up until this point had been permission/leased farms. This process was extremely exciting, and he knew he wanted to be a part of others’ exciting purchases. Wayne and his son had to do most of the research on the property themselves as their realtor was not much of an outdoors person. He realized that there was a real opportunity and service to be provided in the outdoor/farm real estate industry.
Wayne is extremely passionate about the outdoors and is excited about being able to share that excitement with others when making their dreams come true.
