Description
Located on the Paint Rock River, in the fertile river valley, this tract makes for a very good hunting property for deer, turkeys and even has a duck hole. The entire tract is located in the floodplain and will flood on occasion after real heavy rain events and is in a WRP program that DOES RESTRICT some development, please reach out for specific details on the WRP (Wetland Reserve Program). The deer population in the area is good, the surrounding crop fields provide a great summer food source and if you look at the map, you will see this is the cover for the area. Several pockets of mature hardwoods are in the property as well, providing mast production and treestand locations. The river bank makes for an excellent campsite overlooking the river, and I just so happened to see 6 -7 longbeards standing on the gravel bar of the river when I was taking pictures at this location. The Paint Rock River is known for its beauty and its fishing. This could be a great place to slide in a canoe and float downstream.
