The property is located close to a public boat ramp off County Road 932. The area is well known to produce large whitetail deer and numerous ducks migrating along the St Francis River each winter. This area is located within the only flooded bottomland hardwood forest for miles around. This prime recreational property adjoins the St. Francis Sunken Lands Wildlife Management Area on the northern side near the communities of Schug and Dixie. The Sunken Lands cover in excess of 30,000 acres. Waterfowl, deer, squirrel, and rabbit are abundant throughout the area. Bottomland hardwoods consisting of large mature oak, cypress, and ash are the main species found throughout this property. This property is just 20 miles northeast of Jonesboro and only 13 miles southeast of Paragould.
