I have some history with this property, so some information is from a few years back. Since the facts haven't changed, I am also including some pics from the past. The lower 4-acre portion of the 15-acre tillable field can be flooded by utilizing the 2-pump system to pump from the oxbow in the timber to the field each year. In the center of these 4 acres is a concrete 12' duck/goose in-ground pit. You combine the flooded 4-acre tillable field, the waterfowl in the timber, and the tremendous amount of wildlife that Rend Lake Wildlife Area holds, and you have the best of both waterfowl and whitetail hunting that I have seen. I have also included some harvest pictures from the current owners and a nice 10 pt shed I found this May while walking the property. He should be a pretty nice 10 this year! All around the edges of the tillable are huge rubs and trails, as you can see in our pictures. On the front west side of the property is also a 2.5-acre lake from which the owners have enjoyed good goose hunting and fishing. The cabin overlooks this lake, and there is a 10' in-ground goose blind alongside it. Access is a deeded easement along the south side of the neighbor to the west that has been graveled and can be driven with a truck or regular car/SUV. A 3320 Zeton tractor with all the implements to take care of the land is also available for sale. These are stored in a locked steel storage container on the property.
