The deer herd in the refuge is legendary, and you will have access to the refuge from the Tensas and be secluded from the refuge by the Tensas river. There is a mature hardwood slough that holds mallards when the water is right. There is good fishing in the Tensas River as well. This property provides a little bit of everything.
