Kirk is a third-generation realtor who started his career in 2004 as a real estate agent in his native state of Arkansas. Given his family history, becoming a real estate agent was a natural next step after college. A few years into his career, Kirk managed to reach several million dollars in sales and followed that achievement by acquiring his Executive Broker’s License.
Kirk came to Whitetail Properties in 2012, after recognizing that — while real estate and investing had always been his way of life — his passion was in land ownership, land management and deer hunting in the Midwest. This passion drew him away from his Southern roots and toward West Central Illinois, where he relocated to work as a Land Specialist for Whitetail Properties.
After a successful three years as a land specialist, Kirk was promoted to National Sales manager for Whitetail Properties and now holds active Real Estate Broker’s licenses in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. He is proud to aid the sales management team in the supervision, training, mentorship and management of the company’s Land Specialists.
A 2005 graduate of Arkansas State University, Kirk earned a degree in Business Finance and a minor in real estate. Kirk has also earned the esteemed Accredited Land Consultant designation, QDMA Deer Steward 1 and 2 certifications, as well as, the Real Estate Negotiation Expert designation (RENE).
Kirk has owned properties in Arkansas and Illinois and currently resides in Quincy, Illinois with his wife Allison and two young sons Brody and Griffen.
